LaserGas II SP Monitor

designed for in-situ measurement in stacks, ducts, or reactors with typical path lengths in the range 0.5-20 m.Single Path Monitors are designed for in-situ measurement in stacks, ducts, or reactors with typical path lengths in the range 0.5-20 m. By-pass and extractive configurations are also possible. The LaserGas II SP Monitor utilizes a transmitter / receiver configuration (mounted diametrically opposite each other) to measure the average gas concentration along the optical line-of-sight. The monitors’ compact design comprises the transmitter unit with laser module, collimating optics, and main electronics and the receiver unit with focusing lens, photo detector and receiver electronics. Both units have environmental protection IP66 for rough industrial environments. The standard optical windows withstand pressures up to 5 bar abs (high pressure windows available as option). The monitor is installed on DN50 or ANSI 2" flanges, which include an alignment mechanism for easy installation and purge air connections. A continuous purge flow will prevent dust and other contamination from settling on the optical windows. Measurement readings are provided through standard 4-20 mA current loops, or as options the fibre-optic output and the Ethernet interface. The latter enables instrument communication via local area networks or the Internet. As option automated online zero/span check is available for validation of the analyser at the measurement point. Based on the well-proven tuneable diode laser (TDLAS) technology the instrument has a number of unique features. Features
  • No gas sampling - in-situ measurement
  • Applicable for a wide range of process conditions
    • High temperature (up to 1500 °C for some gases)
    • High dust loads (> 100 g/m3 for short paths)
    • Complex background gas mixtures, corrosive gases
  • Line measurement (integral concentration over the full stack diameter)
  • Low cost of ownership
  • Approved for ATEX zone 1 (EEx p) and zone 2 (EEx n)
  • Approved for CSA Class 1 Div 2 (non incendive)
  • German TÜV approval for NH3+H2O
